How We Camp

I hope you all had a nice holiday celebration! We didn't do much, as we only returned home from camping a week ago. We enjoyed the fireworks, and that was about it.

I saw this pickup camper at Rubbernecker a while ago, and knew I had to have it...as this is how we've been camping for years.

Stamps: Camper (Rubbernecker), Essential Sentiments (MFT)
Card Stock: Bazzill from "Winter Wonderland" selection (at Lizzie Anne Designs), White, Pheobe (BasicGrey)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Green Galore, Copic markers, Spica Glitter pens, Stardust GellyRoll pen
Accessories: Rectangle Nestabilites, Alpine Ribbon Originals (retired SU), Scotch Foam Tape

**Most campers are white with fancy graphics, so I just lined the camper with my C1 Copic marker so it doesn't look so plain (can't tell in the photo). I didn't get brave enough to attempt the graphics...so there you have it.

This may seem very small for a family of five, but our kids are still small enough to make it work (for now anyway). Three can sleep in the over the cab bed area, and two sleep down in the dining area (where we drop the table). We have been discussing what we will get when we need something larger, but we are still undecided for now.

Do you camp? I would LOVE to know what you all are using!!

This is a picture of our site after we set everything up. We pitched a small tent to store all of our clothing, towels, etc, in for easy access. We also put up a screen room for a covered area over the picnic table. It works out really well for us!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Enjoy your Sunday!!

Stamp Simply "Stars and Stripes"

I am so honored to be Sharon's Stamp Simply Guest Designer for the month of July! Thanks so much Sharon! I am humbled to work along side your talented team of designers!!

Here's this weeks' challenge (ssnotime94): Stars and Stripes - In honor of the 4th of July, we are to incorporate stars and stripes into our work. Making a patriotic card is totally OK, but you NEED NOT make your card patriotic. As long as you have some stars and stripes somewhere in your creation, you are good to go!

Feel free to play along...and please let me know if you do, so I can come check it out! ☺

Here are the awesome team members' creations for inspiration:
Sharon, Janine, Jennifer, Julie, AJ, Tammy, Barbara, Jenny, and of course, Deb (so sorry I missed linking you earlier!)....and here's mine:

Stamps: God Bless the USA (Simply Single from Lizzie Anne Designs)
Card Stock: Vintage Cream (PTI), Stars & Stripes (digital paper from LAD)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Riding Hood Red, B97 Copic marker
Accessories: Deckled Rectangle Nestabilites, Stitched Ribbon (PTI), Star Rhinestones, Scotch Foam tape

Of course I had to go the patriotic way, and use my new God Bless the USA LAD single and Stars & Stripes digital papers (both are the special this week).

Thanks for stopping by today!! If I don't make it back here tomorrow...I hope you all have a fabulous 4th!!

Formula 1 Race Car Stamp !t Stamp

I'm away on vacation with the family, so I checked my files to see if there were some projects that I haven't posted over here yet. I found a few, so I will have something for you to see while we are away.

This is a card I made with a created stamp from my Stamp !t kit when I was reviewing it for the Product Review at Splitcoaststampers. My son, Lance wanted me to make the car image into a stamp...so I did. (My first choice is usually flowers, but he was thrilled that I made this). I used my Squares Texture Plate for the "flag" background, and just sanded the texture to make it pop.

If you haven't check out the review yet, you may find it here: Stamp !t Review

Thanks for visiting, and enjoy celebrating Father's Day with all of the special Dads in your lives!!

Post It Notes

Stamps: Garden Inspirations (Lizzie Anne Designs)
Card Stock: White, Garden Inspirations digital paper
Ink: Whisper White craft, Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue
Accessories: Certainly Celery ribbon, Striped Bashful Blue ribbon, Mini-Medley White Daisy brads (CTMH), Modern Label punch (SU), 4 x 6 acrylic frames, 3 x 3 Post It Notes

Goodness...it has been so crazy around here with the kids home from school! It seems I don't have much time to stamp and create at all, and why I have been absent from blogging and blurfing. I can't wait to catch up (though I don't know when that will be). I am so looking forward to getting into some kind of routine soon!

Here are a couple of 3 x 3 Post It Note holders that I made as gifts. The patterned paper is Garden Inspirations (downloadable paper), and the stamped flowers and message are from the Garden Inspirations Little Bits stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by today...and I hope you all have a wonderful week!
